HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!! its going to be an exciting year for FOTF and CLR Frontiersman. we here at the FOTF "staph" are beginning a major overhaul of the site. we realize after a recent switch in servers the site has been performing drastically below par... we have listened to all your comments in the forums... and we are beginning on a path forward to create a better environment to interact, post info, find connections between frontiersmen, and promote the code outside of one week a year at CLR. more info to come! keep the suggestions flowing in the forums under "General Discussion"-->"Forum Feedback." GRRRR OUT! (PS. Zach, i fixed your nickname for you!)

Happy new year!!!!

Posted By: ZacheryHall on 1/1/2011 1:05:25 PM EST
Unfortunatly most of you probably won't remember me because I forgot to add my nickname when I first became a member(I'm that guy who brought and tagged everyone with those Apache Zach pins this year)and the darn update page won't work. although I am extremely greatfull for all the hard work people have done on the website. Anyway sorry I missed the Rendezvous but stuff happens not to mention I was recently elected SPL of my troop and I am Actually writing up a meeting plan right now. On a happier note I just finished my Eagle project about a week ago and I'm going on a camping trip with my troop in about 2 hours we will be touring Right Patterson Air Force museum on Saturday. Even more awsome than that I'm going back to philmont next year Grrrr! Hope to see you guys at the spring Vou. Merry Christmas. P.S. I just won My game Grrrrrr!

first of all, i apologize for my slow response towards the spring vous. this past week or so has been extremely hectic for me. however, heres the 'word in the woods': a huge thanks is deserved for following(in no specific order) : mark howell, blaine rowe, fransisco contreares, dante caldwell, peter wink, tommy wink, tim machovina, aaron machovina, jhediah bragg, lindsey patton, rachael ballard, dan burris, tom wright, and chuck wright. these frontiersman (or potential frontiersman) did an outstanding job clearing out (or 'clearing back' i should say) the brush that was invading the parking lot. the spring vous was full of hard work, frontiersman games and stories, and even a long hike, all the while embracing fellowship and cheerful service. once again, thank you! i am currently in dayton spending time with family before camp starts, however, as soon as i get a chance to return to jackson (where my camera is), ill upload some spring-vous-pictures! jay: thank you! and for the record, i wouldnt mind chatting (phone, email, facebook, whatever) about 'the way the stick floats' (if you catch my drift) whenever you get a chance. i am exceedingly excited about this summer and have high hopes for the program! grrr!!! bcks
